MEET OUR TEAM
A jigsaw of creatives, nerds, communicators and organisers all fitting their talents together to make a sum way bigger than the parts.
Shaun has more than 20 years’ experience in the marketing and events spheres, ranging from corporate marketing roles right across to coordinating international campaigns in print, web, TV and social media.
His passions include social change and business development with a real passion for community building activities. A mix of corporate, self employed and NFP experiences have provided Shaun with a pragmatic approach to getting things done and building partnerships and collaborations where none existed previously.
Shaun has tertiary qualifications in business and is a member of the Institute of Directors. For fun, Shaun loves sailing, motorcycles, gardening and renovation.
Deb is well qualified for both design and web work with a Certificate in Design and a Diploma in Internet and Web Development. She spent 9 years learning all aspects of print and production with John Walker Printing followed by some years in an advertising bureau.
Before Grow she was with Deloitte in Wellington as the senior designer specialising in corporate brand identity.
Deb is a fine artist and has exhibited her work in shows and galleries around NZ.
She is a mother of triplets and is (has to be!) an excellent time manager. When not in the office or running around after the kids she is, well, running around after the kids.
Brian began his career as an accountant back in the UK in the pre computer days of quill pens before getting seduced by financial markets and spent the next 35 years working as a forex and financial futures broker.
In 2005 he married Bronwyn, a local Kiwi girl and is now a permanent resident here.
His experience in finance, business and investment combined with a passion for social justice resulted in offers of board and other contract roles, enough to entice him out of early retirement. He now serves on the board of several charitable trusts and is a director of Anglican Care Waiapu Ltd.
For Grow Brian works part time, largely remotely and keeps our financial accounts in order in the cloud as well as other occasional assignments, including procuring advertisers for the Anglican Taonga magazine and website.
To relax Brian likes to fish, cycle, read, listen to music and plan global revolutionary change.
