I'd like to attend Fueling Good – NFP Finance Forum 2019 which is the premier professional development event, on Wednesday 8 May 2019 in Auckland.

My attendance will allow me to understand what is at the forefront of the finance and accounting profession as every year content is curated on the changing needs of finance and accounting professionals and teams within the NFP sector in New Zealand. This years Forum, will focus on how I can prepare myself with the skills and knowledge to leverage the opportunities afforded by automation, digitisation, visualisation and becoming customer centric. This will provide the information and practical examples we need to meet and even exceed our business objectives.

The sessions are filled with practical tips to assist my efficiency and productivity. My main objective is to return from The NFP Finance Forum with new ideas and business insights that will benefit our team. I will also achieve 6 hours CPD to maintain my professional registration.

I’ll learn:
• how to best translate dense numbers into business context stories for non-finance teams
• the practical application of artificial intelligence, blockchain, machine learning and automation and why it’s relevant to us
• how finance teams can best place themselves in a customer centric organisation and how we can contribute to the success of a customer-centric strategy 
• how my ability to think critically, creatively and act with empathy as a team member will add value and contribute in our competitive environment.
