This hands-on masterclass is designed to help leaders and senior executives within not-for-profit, social enterprise, philanthropy and government further develop their strategy and innovation capability. 

A special focus is on innovation of new, earned revenue streams to build resilience in funding.

Originating from the intersection of Strategy and Innovation, this content has been deployed with hundreds of social sector organisations here and overseas.

During the course of the day you will use simple yet powerful tools to help you set, refine or learn about:

  • Value Proposition – what is your unique and powerful contribution to the social issue or opportunity
  • Altitude – how should you interact with others in the system
  • Innovation for earned revenue – building a resilient business and funding model
  • Creating connection in your team to drive performance and implement your great ideas

About the presenter:

George Liacos

For over two decades George has advised Not-For-Profit, Government and Commercial organisations in strategy, business models and system transformation. Entering the consultancy world on the back of having grown and sold a $100M private sector business, Spark’s clients consistently cite his aptitude for strong practicality, keen commerciality and a commitment to creating uniquely tailored approaches which render maximum practical benefit. Prior roles saw George as the National Lead Partner for Transformation at Grant Thornton, Program Director for the Department of Premier and Cabinet as well as Chairman and Non-Executive Director on a number of technology and service businesses. A proponent of tough love, George will stop at nothing in his quest to unearth fresh ideas for sustainable business models. In his spare time (outside of airport lounges) George can be found making a mess in the kitchen and cooking up a storm with his kids.

What happens if you have to cancel?

We know that sometimes your plans can change for many different reasons. Should you be unable to attend, a substitute delegate is welcome to attend at no extra cost. If a substitute delegate is not available and you need to cancel your registration, please be aware of the following:

Up to 7 days prior to the event you will be provided a refund of your registration cost, less a $50.00 plus GST service charge

If you cancel within 7 days of the event, you are not eligible to receive a refund. Please note: should your registration not be paid by the time of the event, you are still liable to make the payment. Unpaid accounts may be passed over to our debt collection agency and additional costs may be incurred.

All cancellations must be received in writing (email).

Delegates are responsible for their own travel/accommodation bookings and no compensation will be made should the event be rescheduled or cancelled.
