Understanding and Supporting Those Experiencing the Effects of Trauma

How to support yourself and your clients better

21 September, New Plymouth
Contact us for other regions

A multi-modality approach to coaching clients (and ourselves) through the effects of trauma and how we can use techniques such as mBraining, Havening, IDT and Polyvagal Informed Therapies to reprogram behavioural and cognitive responses.

Join Dr Suzanne Henwood for this 1-day face-to-face workshop.

We are actively following Ministry of Health Advice relating to COVID-19 levels and our team will contact those registered for events which may have changes in delivery.

We will explore:

  • What constitutes Trauma and how do we recognise it?
  • How does past Trauma impact on today's life and experiences?
  • How do we create safety to explore what we need?
  • A range of tools that are available to support clients to self-facilitate to create calm
  • Which tools are most appropriate  in different scenarios
  • Some simple, yet profound, self help tools to take away with you
